My Adventures with Superman season 3 premieres, with Superboy
My Adventures with Superman returns for season 3 on Adult Swim, with Darren Criss voicing Superboy and Cyborg Superman on the way.
At midnight on Saturday 13 June 2026, My Adventures with Superman returned to Adult Swim for its third season, and it brought a new member of the family.
What we know
The biggest addition was Superboy, voiced by Darren Criss. Variety’s exclusive trailer showed him pestering Superman and Lois with questions, a playful dynamic that suits the show’s warm, comic tone. The trailer also teased Cyborg Superman, a villain with deep roots in the 1990s comics.
Jack Quaid and Alice Lee returned as Clark and Lois. The show had been confirmed for a third season back in 2024, so it was a long wait for fans, and episodes followed on HBO Max after their Adult Swim broadcast.
Why it matters
The series remains one of the most charming Superman adaptations in years, and a great way into the character for younger fans. It sits outside the DC Studios continuity, as our DCU watch order explains. For the villains it borrows from the comics, see our Superman villains guide.
