Later in 2027: a projection, not a schedule
DC has only solicited comics up to January 2027, and February’s list usually appears in late November. The following is our projection from the usual monthly pattern, not announced dates: Action Comics would reach about #1117 and Superman about #57 by December 2027, and Superman: The Stranger #6, the finale, would arrive around February 2027. No Man of Tomorrow tie-in comic has been announced as of 6 November 2026.

Dates for your diary
- 18 April: Superman Day, marking the on-sale date of Action Comics #1 in 1938. DC and Warner Bros. usually announce something.
- Wednesdays: new comics day. We round up the week’s Superman releases.
- July: San Diego Comic-Con, where big DC film and TV news often breaks. Expect a major Man of Tomorrow push in 2027.
How we keep this page accurate
Release dates move, especially for comics and streaming. We check this calendar against DC’s own listings and established trade press whenever news breaks, and we update the comics table at the start of every month. If a date here looks wrong, please tell us.
Recently released
- Clayface (23 October 2026, DCU film)

Questions
What day do new Superman comics come out?
New DC comics go on sale on Wednesdays (DC moved back from Tuesday to Wednesday in July 2024), and UK comic shops list them for the same Wednesday. Each series tends to keep its own week: Action Comics on the second Wednesday of the month and Superman on the last.
What Superman comics are coming out in December 2026?
December 2026 brings Absolute Superman #26 and Kingdom Come Facsimile #4 (2 December), Action Comics #1105 (9 December), Superman Unlimited #20 and Batman/Superman: World's Finest #58 (16 December), and Superman #45 with the final Bizarro: Year None #4 (23 December).
Is there a Superman TV show coming?
There's no live-action Superman series currently announced for the DCU. Superman & Lois ended in 2024, and the animated My Adventures with Superman continues separately.
