Privacy and cookies
Plain-English explanation of what data this site uses and why.
Who we are
Kal-El.co.uk is an independent fan site run from the United Kingdom. This policy covers https://kal-el.co.uk.
What we collect
We don't run accounts or comments. The only personal information we receive is what you choose to send through our contact form or by email. Our web host keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a short period and are not used to identify you.
Contact form and email
If you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. Messages go straight to our inbox and aren't stored on the website. We keep correspondence only as long as we need it and never sell or share it. Messages may be sorted and summarised with AI tools to help us respond.
To stop spam, the contact form keeps a scrambled (keyed-hash) version of your IP address and a count of messages sent, in a private area of our web host that isn't publicly accessible, for up to about two hours. It is then deleted. It can't easily be turned back into your IP address and is never linked to your message.
AI-generated images
Some images on this site are AI-generated with Google Gemini. They were made for the site, show no real people and are labelled where they appear. Making them involved none of your data, and viewing them sends nothing to Google: every image is served from our own server. See our image credits.
Advertising and cookies
This site may show adverts served by Google AdSense to pay for running costs. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads and measure how they perform. Where the law requires it (including UK GDPR and PECR), you'll be asked for consent first through a consent message provided by Google, and you can choose non-personalised ads.

- Turn off personalised ads: Google Ad Settings
You can change your choices at any time using the "Privacy and cookie settings" link that appears on the page once ads are active, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. To make a request, contact us.
