Superman comics in November 2026: Brainiac finale, Lex Year One and more
Every Superman comic out in November 2026, from the Absolute Superman #25 Brainiac finale to Action Comics' Lex Luthor: Year One and Superman #44.
November is a big month for the Man of Steel on the comics shelf. One of DC’s most talked-about series hits a milestone finale, Lex Luthor’s origin keeps unfolding in Smallville, and the main Superman title heads somewhere much darker. Release dates below are US on-sale dates; UK shops usually get them the same week.
Out now (4 November)
Absolute Superman #25 wraps up the “Get Brainiac” storyline in an oversized issue written by Jason Aaron, with art by Juan Ferreyra, Carmine Di Giandomenico and Rafa Sandoval. DC’s solicitation promises the ending will push this reimagined Kal-El into a new era, so it’s a good jumping-off point and a good jumping-on point.
Superman: The Stranger #3 continues Wes Craig’s mature-readers series set in 1938. Superman’s crackdown on Metropolis crime is backfiring as the criminals he catches keep walking free, so he turns to a certain reporter called Lois Lane to get the truth out. The first two issues won praise for Craig’s art and period setting.
Supergirl: Survive #5 traps Kara and Kal in a wasteland built from their own past, with General Zod in the way.
11 November
- Action Comics #1104: Mark Waid’s “Lex Luthor: Year One” continues, as a teenage Clark befriends Lex after the Luthors move back to Smallville.
- Supergirl #19: Sophie Campbell’s Kara, powerless after gold kryptonite exposure, goes back to school while rivals compete for her mantle.
- Superman #199 Facsimile Edition: a reprint of the classic Superman vs. Flash race by Jim Shooter and Curt Swan.
18 and 25 November
- Superman Unlimited #19 (18 November): Dan Slott turns Superman and his son, Tomorrow Man, into something very alien.
- Superman #44 (25 November): Joshua Williamson’s Superman takes on a Metropolis cult worshipping a corrupted Black Lantern ring, with the threat of Nekron’s return.
- Bizarro: Year None #4 (25 November): Kevin Smith’s Bizarro series ends.
